Your role
Working as a preschool teacher offers unique – and meaningful – opportunities to influence and contribute to children's development. As a preschool teacher, you help create a positive and developing environment, with a good balance of care and learning, for each child and the entire group every day. You do this by taking responsibility for the pedagogical work according to the preschool's operational goals.
Our well-organized structure, based on children's participation and influence, forms the foundation of our pedagogical work. Our pedagogical approach is based on an exploratory method where our primary tool is pedagogical documentation. Through observation, documentation, and reflection, we make children's learning processes visible and determine the direction for the next step in pedagogical work.
We also see pedagogical documentation as a natural part of our systematic quality work and operational development. As a preschool teacher in Area 1, you will work in a setting where we offer various meeting places and engage children in playful and learning challenges.
The preschool's hours of operation are 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, and your work schedule may include opening and/or closing shifts. You should also participate in team meetings until 6:00 PM once a month.
Your competence and experience
You must have current work experience based on the mission in Lpfö18.
You have a preschool teacher certification. It is advantageous if you have experience using digital pedagogical tools.
You have knowledge and ideas about how you and your colleagues will implement the curriculum's goals and values.
Your focus on children is clear and is reflected in your daily approach.
You also have knowledge of how to make children's learning processes visible and further develop them through pedagogical documentation.
We consider it advantageous if you can create inspiring and health-promoting learning environments both indoors and outdoors.
Computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written, are required.
In your professional role, you are engaged, professional, and take initiative.
You are responsible and organized, with a good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively.
Your collaborative skills are excellent and you are accommodating in your interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues.
You handle conflicts in a perceptive and constructive manner.
You enjoy leading and motivating others, and you share your experiences and knowledge.
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
