About the Position
Outpatient care is part of the Individual and Family division and is the social services' open-access program for families with children ages 0-21, adult victims of violence, and perpetrators of violence. We work with assistance according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and interventions supported by the Youth Care Act (LVU) in close collaboration with case managers, as well as advice and support without prior needs assessment. Our operations also include group activities directed at children and adults. We have a broad municipal mandate, and our vision is to provide users with the best possible care by remaining flexible based on competence and experience.
The unit provides advice, support, and treatment conversations with individuals and/or families, as well as preventive work directed at groups. We implement decisions regarding youth service/youth care and participate in meetings with partner organizations.
We are committed to meeting individuals where they are and work to collaborate with case managers to find flexible solutions to build good relationships with those we serve. This means we seek an employee who values meeting individuals both in a counseling room and in their homes or other settings that match their preferences and needs. The position also involves working in individuals' home environments with practical educational support or activities outside the home. As a counselor, it is important that you are comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues.
Are You the Right Person?
