The interim position is approximately 12 months with the possibility of extension. Welcome to us Children and Youth within Enskede-Årsta-Vantör consists of approximately 90 employees distributed across several specialized units. We are located in the Slakthusområdet area by Globen. You will be responsible for a youth unit with eight social workers and two SIG coordinators. The unit is responsible for the exercise of authority for young people and their families as well as coordinated efforts for young people at risk of falling into crime or other social problems. Your role As a unit manager, you are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, and follow-up. You lead workplace meetings, mentor employees in complex matters, follow up on operational results, and drive development work together with employees. The assignment also includes cooperation with internal and external partners. You report to the area manager and are part of a management team with eight unit managers. Your competence and experience Requirements for the position: Social work degree. Experience with the exercise of authority within social services' children and youth area. Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Merits for the position: Previous leadership assignments, for example as acting manager, senior social worker, or equivalent.
