Ref: 20261636
One of our employees is taking a leave of absence for studies, so the Recreation Administration's Finance Unit is looking for you to take this opportunity and work with us on budgeting and monitoring. This temporary position is for 1 year.
Job Responsibilities
As a controller in the Recreation Administration, you will support the administration's managers in their budgeting work as well as matters related to monitoring, forecasting, and analysis. The work also includes preparing financial analyses and supporting materials.
You will be responsible for monitoring our operations' budgets, interim reports, and year-end closing procedures, and also serve as a support to managers on other matters related to the administration's finances. During the fall, you will work on preparing the internal budget for 2027 together with the operations and registering the budget in our financial system.
The administration's ongoing accounting—such as bookkeeping, account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable—is not handled by the administration but by a shared accounting unit located at the Primary School Administration.
The Finance Unit is small, which means you will work closely with your manager and colleagues and, if needed, help out where necessary in the unit.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you need to:
Have a bachelor's degree with an economic focus (180 ECTS)
At least two years of work experience in budgeting, monitoring, and year-end closing work
Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken
We consider it a merit if you:
Have previously worked in a politically governed organization
Have previously worked with the systems Raindance and Qlicksense
As a person, you have the ability to build good relationships and are skilled at collaborating with others. You have a consultative and coaching approach when working with the administration's managers and can independently drive the processes you work with. You are clear in your communication, have structure in your working methods, and can focus on details while maintaining an overall perspective.
