We're now seeking an engaged and positive shop associate for our Umeå store for a temporary position. As an associate at Sportshopen, you work at a high pace where no two days are the same. We offer engaging and varied work in an expanding company with a strong focus on community, service, and sales. Responsibilities As a shop associate, you will work with: Customer service and sales Checkout operations Unpacking and restocking merchandise Product displays and merchandising Price labeling and adjustments Ensuring order and cleanliness throughout the store You will always greet our customers with a smile and help create the best possible shopping experience. Who Are You? We're looking for someone with experience in retail, preferably in the sports or outdoor segment, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is experienced handling high merchandise volumes. You are service-oriented with strong customer focus and feel confident in sales and working toward set goals. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented team player with excellent collaboration skills. Terms This is a temporary position at 80% with a start date of August 24 or by agreement, extending through March 1, 2027, with the possibility of extension. Working hours vary and include work on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We apply wages according to the collective agreement with the Union of Commercial Employees.
