Welcome to us
Do you want to work with the exercise of public authority and are interested in the elderly target group? Needs Assessment for the Elderly is responsible for the exercise of public authority under the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. The area is led by an area manager and includes a staff and four assistance units with a total of 93 committed employees. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and within the units work social services case officers, mentors, group leaders, transportation service and fee handlers, and administrators.
Your role
As a social services case officer, you are responsible for investigating needs, assessing, deciding, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. Follow-up of granted interventions, implementation, and costs are part of the case management process. The work consists largely of documentation and meetings with others and therefore places high demands on good communication in speech and writing.
In this announcement, we are looking for three temporary employees for 6 months or longer.

Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
A degree in social work.
Current experience with needs assessment in elderly care, LSS, or social psychiatry?
Good knowledge of the Social Services Act and legal precedent.
Good proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing.
It is a merit if you have:
Knowledge of Stockholm City's guidelines for elderly care within social services.
Experience working with needs assessment within Stockholm City.
Practical experience and knowledge of the documentation systems Paraply and LifeCareSP.
