About the Role Are you curious about expanding your expertise toward functional support service users? We are now recruiting an occupational therapist for a 6-month temporary position with excellent opportunities for extension. We are looking for a committed occupational therapist to join the functional support team in the southwestern area of Gothenburg, based at our office on Redegatan. In the team, you will work alongside other occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses, which means strong collegial support and collaboration. Together with the team, there is an opportunity to work creatively and solution-oriented to make a difference for our patients. As an occupational therapist, you will meet patients with congenital or acquired disabilities who live in supported housing with special care and services. Your responsibilities include assessing the need for occupational therapy interventions, prescribing and trialing both medical devices and cognitive aids. Together with patients and staff, both at the residence and in their daily activities, you will plan goals and implement interventions to create maximum independence and participation in everyday life. It is a requirement that you hold a B driving license and have driving experience. We would prefer that you have experience in rehabilitation or habilitation work. It is also an advantage if you have worked in psychiatry and/or have experience with stroke patients or those with congenital/acquired brain injuries.
