Substitute Care Worker for Individuals with Disabilities in Kävlinge Municipality

About the Position Would you like meaningful work where you contribute to ensuring that people with disabilities have a safe, active, and joyful everyday life? We warmly welcome you to apply as a substitute within our LSS services! As a substitute within LSS, you support individuals with various disabilities in their daily lives. This can include assistance with personal care, activities, communication, household tasks, and social support. You work in residential settings or in day programs – always with the individual at the center. Are You the Person We're Looking For? • You are at least 18 years old. • You have strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written (minimum level B2). • You are flexible and can work day shifts, evening shifts, and nights (awake duty and/or on-call shifts). About the Employment When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to provide a copy of your criminal record certificate from the Police. The certificate we require is "Certificate for work in homes with elderly people and individuals with disabilities" and you must request it yourself via a form available on the police website: Link to criminal record registry. If you are applying for work with children within LSS, we will also ask you to provide a certificate from the Police criminal record registry titled "Certificate for work with children with disabilities." Link to criminal record registry. Please note that you must present a valid passport or national ID card issued by police at the interview. If you have completed a care and nursing program and/or other equivalent education: To prove that you are a trained nursing assistant, you must upload your grades from your education as an attachment to your application. In the Care Sector, approximately 650 dedicated employees work with elderly care, care for individuals with disabilities, and meal services.
