About the Position
We are now seeking temporary sterile technicians for our unit at Mölndal Hospital, as several of our colleagues will be on parental leave for a few months. With us, you will work to ensure that surgical instruments are properly cleaned, inspected, and sterilized – work that is crucial for patient safety.
The work pace can be high and certain tasks are physically demanding, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working actively and has good physical fitness.
We use individual schedule planning (ISP) which provides the opportunity to influence your own schedule to some extent. You will work Monday-Friday on both day and evening shifts.

Job Responsibilities
Cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments
Inspection and packaging according to established procedures
Documentation and quality assurance
Order picking for the hospital's operating departments
Collaboration with operating departments and other sterile technology units at Sahlgrenska
Who Are We Looking For?
Have training as a sterile technician or equivalent experience
Are thorough, responsible, and have good collaboration skills
Can handle physically active work with occasionally high pace
Have good computer skills
Understanding of hygiene procedures
See opportunities for improvement and dare to suggest changes
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Technical interest
Experience with shift work
