We are now seeking substitute caregivers who can work when regular staff take vacation or during unplanned short-term absences such as illness. You will be working for a woman with a neurological condition who needs assistance with all aspects of her daily life. This includes transfers, personal hygiene, meal preparation, household management, and participation in various activities such as day programs and bathing. Working hours include both long and short day shifts as well as overnight shifts. Some of the time involves working as part of a two-person assistance team. The client prefers only female caregivers in her care team. Experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare is an advantage, but the primary emphasis will be placed on personal compatibility.
