Mariefred School is an F-9 school with approximately 750 students. The school is located in a beautiful environment in the center of the community of Mariefred, with proximity to nature and sports facilities. Mariefred is an extremely important part of the local community. We therefore seek substitute teachers who are passionate about pedagogical work and who want to help make Mariefred School the best in the municipality. We're now looking for you to work as a substitute, primarily at the middle school level at Mariefred School during the 26/27 school year. We're seeking someone interested in substitute teaching in the F-9 program. As a substitute in primary school, you teach students multiple subjects, such as Swedish, mathematics, and social studies. There is usually a prepared lesson plan that you follow, but sometimes you need to plan the day yourself. You also help between lessons, during breaks, and during meals. As a substitute at after-school care, you often work with younger students after regular school hours, where the focus is typically on developing social interaction through play, sports, and creative activities. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has: • Upper secondary education or other equivalent education. • Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Documented experience working with children and young people. To ensure that our short-term substitute positions function as well as possible, we would prefer if you can reach the school within approximately 20 minutes if needed. Having it easy and convenient for our substitutes to quickly step in helps us maintain a safe and stable operation for our students. You demonstrate a strong interest in working to help our students develop. You are skilled at building relationships and work calmly. You are clear, organized, and take responsibility for your work.
