Our client has autism and needs help in daily life to make everything work as it should. You will spend a lot of time outdoors and do lots of fun activities. On a rainy day, we think you'll be baking, watching a movie, or playing games. Either way, this is joyful assistance work where you will truly be needed and are essential for positive adventures. About the client: Our client is a 14-year-old boy living in Årjäng who has autism. He is a happy and positively minded person who loves various activities such as being in nature, cycling, jumping on a trampoline, and baking. He needs help with his daily living, which means you will assist with personal care and ensure that his days are as good as possible. Requirements and job information: To succeed in the role of assistant with this client, you need above all to be responsible, alert, and enjoy doing activities. We believe you have good physical fitness so that you can keep up with all the adventures you will do together. We are looking for either an active person with good physical fitness or a slightly older person who can take on a "grandmother/grandfather" role. If you have experience with autism, that is a merit. We recruit on a rolling basis. Work hours: Currently daytime hours. More hours may be possible for the right person. Requirements: Car and driver's license Provide an extract from the criminal records register for work with children with disabilities. Being an assistant: Being a personal assistant is a responsible job, make no mistake about it. You can say that you are another person's "arms and legs"—you help with things that the person can no longer do on their own. It can mean helping with anything from taking a walk to getting dressed. Sometimes you cook meals or help the client with showering and toilet visits, all depending on the client's situation.
