Do you have a car and driver's license, or are you living in the southern villages of Umeå or in the inland villages? Become a substitute teacher and contribute with security, learning and joy - every day! We are now looking for more substitute teachers ahead of autumn 2026. As a substitute teacher, you have the opportunity to work at different workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary schools, based on both the activities' needs and your own availability. What does the job look like? The best part - no two days are alike! Preschool: You work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers and special education teachers to create a safe, stimulating and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years. Primary School (F–9): You are responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity and professionalism as well as good ability to collaborate in a team with teachers and other pedagogical staff. The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå municipality's preschools, primary schools and after-school care centers. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays, daytime. The work requires that you enjoy variation, like working in different places and can easily adapt to new routines and environments.
