Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We are now recruiting substitute teachers for preschools and schools in Umeå municipality. As a substitute, you are an important resource that contributes with security, learning, and joy - every day! We are now looking for more substitutes ahead of fall 2026. As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at different workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary schools, based on both the activities' needs and your own availability. What does the job look like? The best part - no two days are the same! Preschool: You work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special educators to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years. Primary School (Grades F–9): You are responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity, and professionalism as well as good teamwork ability with teachers and other educational staff. The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå municipality's preschools, primary schools, and after-school programs. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime. The work requires that you enjoy variety, like working in different places, and can easily adapt to new routines and environments.
