Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We are now looking for substitute teachers for preschools and schools in Umeå Municipality. As a substitute, you are an important resource that contributes with security, learning and joy - every day! We are now looking for more substitutes ahead of autumn 2026. As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at different workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary schools, based on both the activities' needs and your own availability. What does the job look like? The best part - no two days are the same! Preschool: You work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers and special educators to create a safe, stimulating and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years. Primary school (F–9): You are responsible for leading and conducting teaching on your own for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity and professionalism as well as good teamwork skills with teachers and other educational staff. The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå Municipality's preschools, primary schools and after-school centers. Working hours are arranged on weekdays, daytime. The work requires that you enjoy variation, like working in different places and can easily adapt to new routines and environments. Requirements for the position are: Complete upper secondary school grades or completed childcare worker education Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing Valid certificate from the National Police Board's criminal records register Do you recognize yourself in the description?
