Hägerneholmsskolan is currently seeking a substitute teacher in Swedish as a Second Language and language elective English/Swedish for the fall term 2026. Hägerneholms rector's area consists of Hägerneholmsskolan, Hägerneholms förskola, and Trädgårdsstadens förskola. The schools and preschools are led by one principal and three assistant principals. Hägerneholmsskolan is a newly built school for grades F-9 that opened in fall 2019 and is surrounded by an inviting schoolyard with various activity areas, artificial turf field, gymnasium, and green spaces. About the Role We are seeking a certified teacher with credentials to teach Swedish as a Second Language. The position also includes mentorship responsibilities for a grade 9 class. As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing instruction in close collaboration with students, colleagues, and school leadership. You actively work toward an inclusive school where all students have the opportunity to succeed and develop according to their abilities. We are looking for someone who: - holds a teaching certificate and is qualified to teach Swedish as a Second Language for grades 7-9 - works both formatively and with a language development focus - is well versed in curriculum documents and can translate them into meaningful learning for students - uses both digital tools and analog resources to create a diverse and engaging learning environment - sees the student's complete academic situation in your mentorship and collaborates with student support services as needed You are structured, engaged, and clear in your instruction. You maintain good collaborative relationships with colleagues and actively contribute to school development. You plan and organize your work efficiently and create a safe and trustworthy classroom where students feel included. You vary your assessment methods and give students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in different ways, based on their individual circumstances. Does this sound interesting?
