We are now recruiting substitute staff and hourly substitutes for after-school programs and educational activities at Vattudalsskolan in Strömsund. For full-time substitutes, we offer a monthly employment during the fall semester where you work based on where the need is within the school's various activities. This means that one week you can work in class and at the after-school program in grades F-3, and the next week you support activities in grades 4-6 or 7-9. The work is varied, developmental, and gives you the opportunity to meet students of different ages and in different contexts. We are also looking for hourly substitutes who can step in on short notice to support the activities in case of absence. Vattudalsskolan is an F-9 school in central Strömsund where student learning, safety, and development are in focus. The school consists of the levels F-3, 4-6, and 7-9, adapted primary education, and after-school programs. Together they create a common thread throughout the students' entire school years. For younger students, nature, culture, and outdoor education are a natural part of teaching. Through proximity to forests and nature, students get the opportunity to learn both indoors and outdoors, while culture in various forms permeates the activities. In grades 4-6, we work to create joy, safety, and good study conditions. Together with students and parents, we build an environment where each student gets the opportunity to develop based on their own abilities. In upper secondary, grades 7-9, outdoor life and health are important parts of the activities. Through various activities, students strengthen their self-esteem, cooperation skills, and sense of responsibility while being prepared for future studies and active participation in society. 6 position(s). QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who wants to work in after-school programs and schools. We would like to see that you are a certified teacher or recreational instructor or have other experience working with children and young people in different learning environments. It is a merit if you: • have experience and interest in working with children and young people • have a relational approach and see each student's unique needs • are flexible, collaboration-oriented, and solution-focused • have basic IT skills Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
