About the role and your responsibilities As an operations controller, you will be actively involved in developing our work within goal and results management, as well as in planning and monitoring operational results and quality. You will also serve as a project or process leader related to the development of operational systems, implementation of analyses, or results monitoring. This means you will be responsible for and work with: - The systematic quality work according to the administration's annual cycle - Planning, monitoring, and analysis and investigation work - Operational plans, annual analyses, interim reports - Preparing matters for decision by the board - Internal controls - Developing various tools to monitor quality, such as assessment and observation materials or surveys for students and guardians in connection with the systematic quality work - Administering and developing the administration's system support for monitoring - Processing, analyzing, drawing inferences from, and presenting quantitative data, as well as assisting others in doing so The assignment includes being aware of external developments and translating new laws or directives into development or monitoring objectives. You will have many points of contact and will collaborate and cooperate with people within your own department, within the administration, across administration boundaries, across the municipality, and with the political administration. In your daily work, you will use various digital administrative, operational, and case management systems, such as Stratsys, QlikSense, or Unikum. About you We are looking for someone with knowledge of and experience in goal and results management, planning, and monitoring. You have good knowledge of statistical processing, analysis and project work, and we want you to have experience working with various digital operational systems and advanced skills in Excel. You hold an academic degree in social science, pedagogy, or another education that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the position. Your education should have given you good knowledge in analysis, monitoring, and preferably statistics. The assignment involves close collaboration with the board, including conducting presentations, leading discussions, and organizing workshops when needed. Previous experience in presenting and communicating complex matters to political decision-makers, management groups, or other target audiences is an asset. You need to have knowledge of and previous experience with quality work and process management. Experience from preschool/school operations and work in Stratsys is also considered an asset. You need to have a good ability to listen and communicate with different target groups, analyze complex data, and identify connections that can form the basis for our work in strengthening quality, equity, and goal achievement. To succeed in this assignment, you need to be quality-conscious, structured, and persistent, while also having the ability to see new solutions. You can reprioritize without losing focus on the assignment. You need the ability to present your work in a pedagogical manner in both written materials and oral presentations.
