Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Youth Psychiatry.
Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under close care. Each close care area is an economic unit led by a director. Primary care is also responsible for the region's health care advice service, youth clinic, and close care ward NÄVA, all of which are grant-financed.
The Close Care Ward, abbreviated NÄVA, is a pleasant care ward with a total of 16 care beds located in Strömsund. Seven of them are the region's inpatient beds/emergency beds and the remaining nine beds are municipal short-term beds. Doctors at all municipal health centers can admit patients to the inpatient beds on the ward, in agreement with the responsible doctor at NÄVA. The municipality's support services unit is responsible for allocating patients to the short-term beds.
NÄVA also includes Light Therapy, where patients by referral can come and receive treatment for their skin problems. At NÄVA, approximately 26 employees work as nursing assistants, nurses, and other staff.
We are now looking for you as a nursing assistant/care assistant who enjoys your professional role. We offer you a temporary position for one of our colleagues who will be on parental leave.
