Welcome to Kungsholmen's Group Residences Kungsholmen's group residences currently consist of seven group homes and three service housing facilities. All are aimed at LSS client group 1, which includes people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. The group homes are located in multi-family buildings with good public transportation access on Kungsholmen. Your working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekend shifts. This position is a full-time temporary assignment. The Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you ensure that the support and services provided are of high quality and with respect for the individual's integrity, participation, and self-determination. We apply a working approach adapted to the residents' needs, wishes, and circumstances. Based on this, you provide support and services in daily life to those living in the group residence so they can live a more independent life according to established goals and agreements. The role also includes: Providing support to individuals in daily living activities, including activities outside the home such as walks in the urban environment Responsibility for maintaining contact with healthcare, rehabilitation, guardians, and day activities Establishing implementation plans, support routines, and activities for the individual About the Service Housing The service housing has sixteen apartments. The apartments are located adjacent to a common area. All apartments have their own kitchen, living room, and bedroom/sleeping alcove. Sixteen users who belong to LSS client group 1 live in the service housing. The users have received LSS decisions and need help in their daily lives. The work team currently consists of six employees working on a rotating schedule with day, evening, weekend, and on-call night shifts. The facility also has a group leader. Your Competence and Experience We're looking for you who are a support assistant, which means you have: High school diploma from a child and youth care program with a focus on social work or educational work Alternatively, high school diploma from a healthcare and nursing program with specialization in the program deepening for people with disabilities At least one year of experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge of the target group and LSS Good computer skills and other digital tools Able to express yourself fluently in speech and writing It is meritious if you have knowledge of low-arousal approach and are certified in Stockholm City's education in the pedagogical framework.
