At the Surgery Clinic at Östersunds sjukhus, the only one in the region, we care for patients in the fields of upper and lower gastrointestinal, breast, endocrine, plastic and vascular surgery, trauma and acute care surgery, as well as urology, oncology, and palliative care. The clinic consists of 4 inpatient wards and 5 outpatient clinics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Standard duties as a physician on an inpatient ward.
- Work at the emergency department during daytime/on-call.
- Administrative tasks, such as signing and following up test and imaging results as well as prescription writing.
- Outpatient clinic work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who hold a Swedish medical license and have completed AT or BT.
The position requires good Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Previous experience from the Surgery Department at Östersunds sjukhus is meriting.

Employment type: Fixed-term contract.
Duration: Start date by agreement but preferably as soon as possible. End date: 2027-08-29.
