Welcome to us
Vällingbyskolan is a welcoming F–9 school located near Vällingby center and beautiful green spaces. The school has approximately 750 students and 140 staff members. Here, dedicated and experienced staff work every day to create the best possible school for our students.
Over recent school years, we have made a focused effort to strengthen student health and wellbeing work by expanding the number of special education teachers, counselors, and school nurses, as well as by introducing full-time mentors in grades 4–9. In the previous school year, the school also became HBTQ-certified.
The school leadership consists of a principal, three assistant principals, and an administrative director.
Your role
As a Spanish teacher in two grade levels (approximately 25%), you are responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and following up on instruction in accordance with the compulsory school curriculum.
The remaining time (75%) you work as a permanent substitute teacher. As a permanent substitute, you are responsible for creating continuity in instruction and daily activities during regular staff absences. The assignment includes:
Substituting for teachers and pedagogues in various grade levels and subjects.
Leading instruction based on planning and given instructions.
