About the Position In your role as a substitute teacher in the after-school program at Olympia School, you will work to complement the pedagogical activities in the classroom and offer full-day learning for our students. During school days, you collaborate with teachers and conduct instruction during FRIS periods as a complement to subject instruction in grades 1 and 2. In the afternoons, you work in the after-school activities together with other after-school teachers, a social pedagogue, and activity leaders. Our after-school program is open from 06:00-18:00, and it is important that you have the ability to work in both morning and afternoon activities. You and your colleagues are responsible for planning, implementing, reflection, and evaluation of the activities. You provide stimulating and challenging instruction that contributes to students' development, learning, and goal achievement, as well as giving them a meaningful and enjoyable leisure time. Together with your team, you create good learning environments and opportunities for creative learning. You are well grounded in current guidelines and work toward the school's established goals. The assignment also includes promoting diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relationships. Like others in the department, you are an active recess supervisor and eat with students for pedagogical purposes a few days per week. Collaboration between Annelund School and Olympia School is extensive, and development work is done jointly. In our after-school activities, one of Kävlinge municipality's lead teachers in after-school programs works, which provides extra strength in development efforts. In Kävlinge municipality, we work across the municipality to promote equity between units. Are You the Person We're Looking For? You have pedagogical training, such as an after-school pedagogue, after-school teacher, preschool teacher, or teacher in grades F-3. We would like to see that you have previous experience working in after-school programs. You work with a clear student focus and are involved in students' learning. You communicate and act in a way that creates good relationships You see solutions, bring new ideas, and work both independently and collaboratively You are positive, responsible, attentive, and engaged Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Interviews are held on a rolling basis. About the Employment The position is a substitute role for the fall semester with 100% employment and start date 2026-08-31, or by agreement. The Annelund/Olympia rectorate consists of two F-6 schools with a combined total of just over 500 students. The schools are located close to each other and have a shared organization where as an employee you can work at both units. We work purposefully so that our students achieve good results in a school where everyone is respected for their person and opinions.
