JOB DUTIES We are seeking an engaged and skilled teacher in Swedish/Swedish as Second Language instruction in grades 7–9. As a teacher with us, you will: • plan, implement, follow up on, and develop instruction based on the national curriculum documents • teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language in grades 7–9 • actively work with students' language, reading, and writing development • create a safe, structured, and accessible learning environment where students with different prerequisites are given the opportunity to succeed • be a clear leader in the classroom and create good conditions for study focus and learning • monitor students' learning progress and use the results to develop and adapt instruction • collaborate closely with colleagues, student support services, and other professionals regarding student learning and development • actively contribute to the work team's and school's joint development work • For us, instruction and relationships are our most important tools to make a difference. We are therefore looking for someone who is curious about your own teaching, wants to develop together with others, and who dares to try, follow up, and make changes when something does not produce the effect we desire QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher with authorization to teach Swedish in grades 7–9. Authorization in Swedish as a second language is meritorious. • have strong didactic ability and clear and confident classroom leadership • have good knowledge of language, reading, and writing development instruction • have high expectations and believe in all students' ability to develop as far as possible • are relationship-building and establish safety and trust • work in a structured and systematic way with planning, instruction, and follow-up • see adaptations and accessible instruction as a natural part of teaching • have good collaboration skills and want to contribute to collegial learning • are solution-focused, flexible, and take responsibility for both your own and the shared assignment Type of employment: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-11-02, End date: 2027-12-22. This position is a substitute role. The employment initially involves a fixed-term employment of one year, with the possibility of extension.
