The HR and Communications Department is responsible for developing and providing support on the agency's operational and strategic matters within these areas. We also manage digital channels, graphic profile, and media matters. Description We are seeking an experienced and driven communicator with interest in both internal and external communications. You enjoy working on multiple different projects in parallel and have no problem with periods of high pace and tight deadlines. You have a strategic focus but also enjoy operational work. You are accustomed to working independently and take responsibility for driving your own projects and assignments. You collaborate broadly and ensure that the right expertise is involved at the right stage to achieve the best possible results. Work Tasks In your role as a communicator, you will be part of coordinating and driving internal and external communications at the agency. You will contribute to developing and maintaining HaV's image, provide communications support to other departments, and raise the communications competence of the agency's leaders and employees. Your role includes: analyzing, planning, implementing activities, evaluating, and structuring both internal and external communications that are of great importance to operations working with support, advice, coaching, and planning for all types of communications issues for employees and managers within the agency taking responsibility for project management, planning, and implementation of events and seminars that the agency organizes or participates in. Other tasks that all communicators participate in include: certain content production and development, especially of digital communications channels (website, intranet, and social media) producing news texts and press releases Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least three years of communications education at the university level or another relevant academic degree. You have at least five years of documented experience in operational and strategic work equivalent to communications strategist or other work experience that we consider equivalent. You have: documented experience in establishing, driving, and following up on communications initiatives in complex contexts experience with target audience-adapted communications across multiple channels good digital competence and experience with communications in digital environments good understanding of how public administration and politically-driven organizations function experience with change communications experience in project managing external events Beyond very strong ability to speak and write Swedish with plain language, the assignment also requires very good knowledge of English. It is meritorious if you have: experience providing strategic communications support to leaders or experts experience with web publishing and working with social media experience working with press matters. You are confident in your expertise and have the courage to drive issues forward even in complex contexts. At the same time, you are a team player who builds trusted relationships and can translate operational needs into clear and relevant communications. You have a holistic perspective on your assignment and excellent communication abilities. Terms The employment is a temporary position as a communicator. The Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management applies individual salary setting. The salary range for the position is between 45,000–53,000 kronor/month and is based on competence in relation to relevant experience. Start as soon as possible after agreement. The starting point is that work is normally performed at the agency's premises; however, after agreement with the department manager, employees may work a maximum of two days of a full-time position or working hours equivalent to two days per week remotely.
