Lerum is truly a Super Municipality! 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES In this role, you work integrated across both school and after-school programs to provide targeted support to individual students. You are part of a close-knit team together with teachers, leisure pedagogues, and other assistants. Your primary task is to create the right conditions for the student to succeed, feel secure, and develop based on their own capabilities. Main work duties Adapt instruction: Break down and structure lesson content at the student's level in consultation with the teaching teacher. Student support: Actively support the student during lessons, during transitions, and during after-school program time. Alternative communication: Work preventively and structure the day using visual supports and clarifying pedagogy. Collaboration: Cooperate closely in a team with teachers, leisure staff, and student health services to create a safe and coherent school day. Relationship building: Create a safe environment and work with a low-affect approach. QUALIFICATIONS Experience working as a student assistant, resource person, or working in adapted primary school/after-school programs. Knowledge of and experience with visual supports and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Ability to adapt pedagogical material according to individual needs. Very good collaboration skills, patience, and a low-affect approach. Education as a student assistant, childcare worker, or other relevant pedagogical background is meritorious.
