We are looking for a temporary nursing assistant until 2027-01-31 with the possibility of extension. About the Workplace Backavik special housing is operated in an intrapreneurial model, which means that you as an employee and our residents have high participation and significant influence on the operations and its content. Residents are offered the opportunity to participate in various contexts, for example in recruitment or in team meetings that consist of a multidisciplinary work group. The focus of the intrapreneurship is on resident well-being, employee job satisfaction, and a pleasant outdoor and indoor environment. Backavik consists of 40 apartments with three departments focused on dementia care and one department focused on somatic care. All our employees have completed training and certification in the Stjärnmärkt model (person-centered care with high self-determination). As a new employee, you will also receive this training. We work continuously with BPSD, risk assessments, and follow-ups. Care coordinators are available to support you in your daily work. All residents should be given the opportunity to "live as long as you live" in safe and enjoyable ways. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on offering activities with varied content. Job Responsibilities At our residence, you perform care and service services according to the Social Services Act. You support and motivate the individual in daily life through an attentive, flexible, salutogenic, and professional approach, where the individual's self-determination is in focus. The work also includes being a contact person, creating implementation plans, carrying out prescriptions and delegated tasks from home care, reporting, documenting in records, and creating incident reports when needed. At Backavik, you will also be part of an intrapreneurial group (work team) that is responsible for various areas: quality/scheduling, food/ordering, activities, and design/work satisfaction. Much of our joint development work takes place within these intrapreneurial groups. We collaborate throughout the facility. Schedules include evening shifts and every other weekend. Qualifications You have training as a nursing assistant and speak and write Swedish fluently. We are looking for you who want to be part of developing elderly care. Working together with people is both stimulating and enjoyable for you. You enjoy working in a group, being engaged and taking responsibility, while feeling confident working independently. We are looking for you who have good interpersonal skills and a professional approach. We would like you to be curious and open to new opportunities and willing to participate in development work. The ability to collaborate with colleagues, other professionals, and your supervisor is essential for a good working environment and good results for our residents! It is a merit if you have a few years of work experience from elderly care and good computer skills.
