Substitute Pedagogue/Teacher in Social Studies, preferably with Swedish language competence
Tora Vega Folkhögskola – General Course, Åkarp (Burlöv)
We are seeking a dedicated pedagogue/teacher for our General Course at upper secondary level. You have competence in social studies subjects, preferably history. Teaching certification or competence in Swedish is a merit.
Scope: 60–75%
Start date: Immediately/by agreement
Employment type: Fixed-term contract
Location: Åkarp, with some teaching and administration in Lund
Responsibilities
You will primarily teach history at upper secondary level and work closely with other educators and management. You will be part of the General Course team and also participate in administrative tasks. Teaching in other areas of the operation may occur.
Qualifications – We are looking for someone who has:
pedagogical education, such as teacher certification, folk high school teacher degree, or equivalent
competence and experience in social studies subjects, preferably history and also Swedish
social pedagogy competence
strong pedagogical ability and a relational approach
strong digital competence
good collaboration skills and flexibility
Experience with thematic work and competence in Swedish are merits.

Tora Vega Folkhögskola (formerly Hvilan Folkhögskola) was founded in 1868 and is Sweden's oldest folk high school. Our main campus is located in Åkarp, and we also conduct educational activities in central Lund, central Landskrona, and online.
