We invite applications for the position of Environmental Specialist in the Environmental Management Department of the Central Administration of the Department of Real Estate and Environmental Protection at Talsu Municipality (registration number 90009113532) (profession code 2422 31) Responsibilities: Organize and coordinate solutions to environmental issues, including environmental pollution matters. Participate in the development of environmental protection projects and the implementation of projects related to sustainable environmental development in Talsu Municipality. Promote waste management in Talsu Municipality. Conceptually develop and ensure the implementation of environmental, blue, and green zones development and management strategy. Organize and ensure the management and use of Municipal water bodies in accordance with regulatory requirements. Organize control of mineral extraction in the Municipal territory, ensuring the use of natural resources in accordance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate the capture of stray animals in the Municipality's administrative territory; coordinate and organize pet registration. Cooperate with the Food and Veterinary Service in combating infectious diseases. Organize document circulation and ensure control of work deadlines. Requirements: Higher education in economics, environment, or a related field; engineering qualification will be considered an advantage. Experience in administrative work or functions related to environmental protection. Excellent computer skills (MS Office), state language proficiency at an advanced level. Category B driving license. Ability to effectively plan and organize work, analyze work results, and apply knowledge to Municipal development. Understanding of regulatory requirements in the environmental field. We Offer: Employment relationship for an indefinite period. Monthly salary from EUR 1290 (before tax) and social guarantees. Health insurance after the probation period.
