As our current production manager moves on to a new assignment within Nova Industri, we're seeking a new production manager who wants to join us in developing our operations and our team. About Nova Industri Nova Industri AB is a subsidiary of SMS group Nordic, whose parent company is SMS group GmbH in Germany. We are a leading service company in industrial production and mechanical processing, with operations in Boden and Kalix. About the Role As a production manager, you'll have a central role in leading and developing our operations. You work close to production and your team, while bearing responsibility for the operations reaching its goals in quality, delivery, safety, and economics. You report directly to Nova Industri's General Manager and collaborate closely with colleagues within SMS group, including in Germany, regarding the group's standards and guidelines. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to: Lead, motivate, and develop employees. Create clarity, structure, and engagement in production. Drive improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, and profitability. Work close to customers and internal collaboration partners. Influence and develop an operation with strong local roots and international contact points. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Lead and plan production to ensure deliveries with the right quality and on time. Create good conditions for a safe, efficient, and well-functioning work environment. Follow up on production results, costs, and profitability. Work with budgets, forecasts, and cost control together with the General Manager. Drive continuous improvements in work methods, processes, and production flows. Ensure that the operation complies with applicable laws, regulations, quality requirements, and ISO standards. Collaborate with colleagues within SMS group to follow shared standards and guidelines. Build a culture where safety, quality, accountability, and development are in focus. We're Looking for You If You have experience in leadership within production, manufacturing, or other industrial operations. You also have practical understanding of workshop or production environments and thrive being close to operations and employees. To succeed in this role, you need to: Have experience leading people and production. Have practical experience from a workshop, manufacturing industry, or similar operations. Be confident working in a structured way with safety, quality, and deliveries. Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the role. Be comfortable following up on results and making decisions based on operational needs. As a person, you are present, clear, and solution-oriented. You build trust by listening, communicating, and following up. You find it easy to collaborate, but can also make decisions and drive work forward when needed.
