In the fall of 2025, a pilot project was launched with operating room-adapted work schedules, aimed at improving the work environment with increased opportunities for recovery. Central Operating at Östersund Hospital provides operating room nursing across 10 operating rooms for both acute and planned procedures. The operating department cares for both inpatient and day surgery patients. Work is performed in teams with specialist nurses in anesthesia and operating room, nursing assistants, anesthesiologists, and surgeons. We perform approximately 8,000 operations per year. JOB DUTIES Operations run 24/7. We provide services to all surgical operations at Östersund Hospital within surgery, urology, orthopedics, gynecology, and otolaryngology. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training in operating room nursing. We would appreciate it if you have experience in the profession, but we also welcome newly graduated nurses to apply. You have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, and actively contribute with your knowledge and to a positive work climate. We value that you are interested in developing within your profession and in helping further develop our operations. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
