Elderly care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, enhances and strengthens people's ability to live independent lives. Dragonen Care and Residential Home is located at Dragonfältet near Umeå city center. The facility, built in 2008, features an outdoor environment with two large patios, generous balconies on each floor, and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. The building has three floors with 96 rooms. We are now recruiting several new colleagues! Your Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for providing our residents with good, safe, and secure care based on their individual needs. Your tasks will include assisting with personal care, meals, medication management, activities, and outdoor time. Under the delegation of a responsible nurse, you will perform medical tasks and be responsible for documenting completed interventions, actions, and residents' health status in accordance with applicable procedures. You will contribute to a meaningful and safe daily life through professional conduct and respectful treatment. As a primary care contact and care contact, you will work with residents' participation and self-determination as your focus, ensuring that care is provided with high quality in accordance with care decisions and implementation plans. Heavy lifting may occur; patient transfer equipment must be used. About You We are looking for someone with strong professional competence built on maturity, responsibility, and well-developed empathy. You demonstrate strong commitment to both individuals and the organization, evident in your relationships and actions. You work independently, are flexible, and display patience and initiative in various situations. You also have an excellent ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
