As a procurement specialist at Trafikverket, you'll play a central role in creating value for society through business-focused procurement, close dialogue with the supplier market, and development of long-term supplier relationships. Job Responsibilities We have a strong focus on business-focused procurement and good supplier relationships within Trafikverket, and we aim to be the supplier's first choice. As a procurement specialist, you create value for citizens and the state by contributing to future infrastructure. The role involves being part of Trafikverket's work to make good deals. You will conduct contract procurement and procurements of technical consulting services for investments and maintenance of roads and railways. Through communication and dialogue with the supplier market, you create clarity and increased attractiveness for our deals. In collaboration with our suppliers, you develop our business with a strong focus on sustainable contracts and a sustainable and robust transportation system. You'll work in a procurement department of approximately 80 employees with broad experience and high competence levels. We have good team cohesion where everyone shares knowledge and supports each other. We're looking for someone who enjoys collaboration and values building good relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. You're communicative and skilled at creating clarity in dialogue, even when questions are complex. You listen to different perspectives and adapt your communication to the situation and audience. As a procurement specialist, you need to influence and inspire others by clearly conveying ideas and building engagement around our deals. You're solution-oriented and comfortable handling complex issues where different interests need to be balanced to find well-thought-out and sustainable solutions. You plan and structure your work carefully and methodically and have the ability to keep multiple parts of a procurement on track from start to finish. Together with your commitment and desire to create good deals, you contribute to developing both our supplier relationships and a sustainable transportation system for the future. We're looking for someone who has post-secondary education in procurement, engineering, construction, law, or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent has some years of work experience in public procurement has strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It's a plus if you have experience working as a procurement specialist/buyer have work experience and/or theoretical knowledge in construction law (AB, ABT, and/or ABK) have experience with infrastructure or construction projects have work experience from state operations Other Information Please attach your CV to your application.
