Edsbruk/Loftahammars home care We are now seeking nursing assistants who want to work day, evening, and weekend shifts in home care in the North area. Your responsibilities Your responsibilities consist of providing care, assistance, and support to service users based on their individual needs and creating a meaningful daily life for them. You will also develop implementation plans for service users where you serve as the primary contact. We work according to a salutogenic approach, which means we focus on the strengths of each individual. Our staff works daytime, evening shifts, and every other weekend. Edsbruk/Loftahammars home care is 1 home care team divided into 2 smaller groups. One operates from Edsbruk and one from Loftahammar. We work closely together and you will work in both groups. These positions are currently based in Loftahammar. Västervik Municipality offers flexible employment levels, which means you choose an employment level between 50-100%. You will have resource days scheduled, and working hours may vary on these days. Your qualifications We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant. For this position, you must also have a valid driver's license (Category B). These positions require that you can plan your work to meet service users' needs. You must be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changes in operations. A positive attitude and good communication are very important. You need to be stable and confident, attentive, and have a strong ability to collaborate with service users, family members, and colleagues. We greatly value commitment to your work and a willingness to contribute to the success of our operations. The position requires you to have basic IT skills to work with the systems we use for documentation and more. You also need to have basic knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken. Other information To be considered for employment with Västervik Municipality, you must provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means you need proof of your right to use the title nursing assistant within care and welfare.
