About the Workplace Ronneby Miljö & Teknik AB was founded in 1999 and is a municipal company wholly owned by Ronneby Municipality. We manage electricity, heating, water, sewage, waste management, fiber optic networks, and broadband. Currently, approximately 120 people work in our operations. We are seeking an engaged Maintenance Engineer who wants to help develop modern, systematic, and long-term maintenance work within our water and sewage operations. In this role, you will be a key person in transitioning our operations from reactive to more proactive maintenance, where sustainability, efficiency, and operational reliability are in focus. You will be part of the water and sewage department and work closely with both management and the operations organization. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Developing action plans linked to decided strategies and goals Planning, following up, and analyzing maintenance efforts for facilities, pump stations, and pipe networks Collecting and analyzing operational data such as MTBF, MTTR, availability, and costs Implementing and further developing maintenance systems (CMMS) Leading and participating in cross-functional improvement initiatives Collaborating with operations technicians, supervisors, and process engineers Contributing to risk analyses, improvement work, and investment planning Monitoring the external environment and participating in relevant industry forums This role has a strategic function and reports to the business area manager, with close collaboration with several functions within the operation. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Experience in operations and maintenance within water and sewage or similar technical operations Interest in analysis, systematic approaches, and long-term planning Good collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally Good computer skills and interest in digital systems (CMMS) It is a merit if you have: Experience in asset management and/or project management Worked with key performance indicators in maintenance, such as MTBF and MTTR As a person, you are analytical, organized, and driven. You have a genuine interest in development and improvement work, as well as the ability to translate strategic goals into practical activities.
