We have an agency-wide mandate to strengthen the ability to work systematically and customer-oriented with development. With us, you work closely with operations and management on issues that affect the entire agency. Through common working methods, increased improvement and change capabilities, and strategic development initiatives, we contribute to meeting future demands and expectations. The Swedish Board of Agriculture faces major opportunities and challenges within digitalization, customer focus, efficiency, and societal development. Therefore, we are strengthening the unit with two business development specialists. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking two business development specialists who want to contribute to the development of the entire Swedish Board of Agriculture. The role suits you if you are motivated by creating improvements, driving change, and turning ideas into concrete results. Both roles work with business development at the agency-wide level, but differ in responsibility, complexity, and experience requirements. Senior Business Development Specialist: As a senior business development specialist, you have a strategic key role in the agency's development and improvement work. You have a leading role in initiating, driving, and coordinating major development initiatives that often span multiple parts of the organization, supporting management groups in strategic development issues, and contributing to the development of the Swedish Board of Agriculture's common working methods within business development. You collaborate with colleagues within the unit and with operations to implement development initiatives that create value for both customers and employees. You are expected to independently identify development needs, create engagement around change initiatives, and ensure that development efforts lead to concrete results. Business Development Specialist: As a business development specialist, you drive and support the development of the Swedish Board of Agriculture's processes, working methods, and practices. You lead your own development initiatives and work closely with operations to transform needs and ideas into improvements. The role suits you if you have experience in business development and want to continue developing in an environment where you work on issues that affect the entire agency. You collaborate with colleagues within the unit and with operations to implement development initiatives that create value for both customers and employees. Regardless of which role you are applying for, you will contribute to strengthening our improvement and development capabilities, creating more customer-oriented working methods, developing processes across organizational boundaries, and driving improvements that strengthen customer value and increased efficiency. This could for example mean that you: • lead or support development and improvement initiatives. • develop and implement common working methods, practices, and tools. • plan and conduct workshops and training initiatives. • provide support to managers, business development specialists, and other key functions. • contribute to increased collaboration between different parts of the organization. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a genuine interest in business development and who is motivated by creating improvements that make a real difference. You are structured in your approach, plan your work well, and drive tasks forward with a focus on quality and results. You are communicative and have an aptitude for creating understanding and engagement in dialogue with others. You enjoy working with different stakeholders and are collaborative in your approach to achieving common goals. Furthermore, you are stable and handle changes and challenges in a secure and constructive manner. You have an academic education that the employer considers relevant for the position, good knowledge of methods, working approaches, and tools within business development, and experience applying them in practice. Additionally, you have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. For the role as senior business development specialist, you need to have: • several years of experience (at least five years) leading and driving development work in complex organizations. • experience leading major development and improvement initiatives from analysis to implementation and follow-up. • experience developing working methods at the organization-wide level, for example in process development or systematic improvement work. • experience collaborating with different roles and management levels in large organizations. For the role as business development specialist, you need to have: • experience leading development and improvement initiatives from analysis to implementation and follow-up. • experience in process development and systematic improvement work. • experience planning and leading workshops. For both roles, it is meriting if you have experience with: • business development within a government agency, municipality, or region. • change management. • digital transformation and how digitalization can contribute to business development and increased operational value. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Ongoing, start date: Start date by agreement. Working hours: Daytime. Work location is Jönköping with the possibility to work part of the time remotely. For us, it is important that all competence on the labor market is utilized.
