We are now looking for two social workers who want to work in a team where collaboration, development and the best interests of young people are always in focus. The placement team is part of the youth unit and currently consists of eight social workers who work closely together with the support of a group leader and several specialist functions. Your role As a social worker in the placement team, you are responsible for monitoring placed young people according to the Swedish Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Young People (LVU). You work in a structured manner according to BBIC and follow young people placed at, among others: SiS institutions HVB homes treatment families emergency families supported housing training apartments We also have co-placements according to the Disability Services Act (LSS). In this role, you follow young people over time, assess needs, plan interventions and ensure that placements maintain high quality and are adapted to the young people's needs. You build and maintain relationships and collaborate closely with young people, families, care providers, schools and other professionals. In our placement cases, we always work together. Assessments are made jointly and you have close support from colleagues, group leaders and various support functions. The unit has: contract coordinators to support placements contract controllers who ensure quality from our care providers SIG coordinators school coordinators focused contact persons social workers at the police Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have: A degree in social work (socionomexamen) Several years of current experience with authority in child and youth matters Good knowledge of the Swedish Social Services Act (SoL) or the Act on Care of Young People (LVU) Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have: A B driving license as travel in the district's service car may occur. You are stable and confident in being able to set demands on care providers while being humble in the face of the complexity of our shared issues.
