Our service organization is responsible for daily operations and maintenance at Lindholmen area, where we support the following high schools: Bräckegymnasiet, Center för språkintroduktion, Ester Mosessons gymnasium, Lindholmens tekniska gymnasium, and Polhemsgymnasiet. We are now seeking engaged and flexible hourly substitutes for both facility cleaning/janitorial work and as a food service assistant in the school cafeteria. Job Responsibilities Facility Cleaning and Janitorial Work As a substitute in facility services, you will ensure that classrooms, hallways, and common areas are fresh, clean, and safe for everyone at school. Your tasks include daily cleaning and facility maintenance, handling cleaning equipment and supplies, and maintaining good hygiene standards. The work is physically active and involves a lot of movement. Working hours vary and may include both day and evening shifts. Food Service Assistant (School Cafeteria) As a food service assistant, you will have a varied day in the kitchen and dining area of our school cafeteria. Your responsibilities include food service, cash register work, dishwashing, cleaning in the kitchen and dining area, as well as participation in the unit's quality control and meal registration. Working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays (for example, 06.30–15.00) and are adjusted based on needs. Since the work involves practical kitchen and dining area operations, some heavy lifting is involved. You will receive on-site orientation to help you feel confident and get a good start with us. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has another primary occupation of at least 50%—perhaps you are studying part-time, pursuing elite sports (for example, playing hockey at a high level), or have another part-time job that you want to supplement. It is a merit if you have experience working in large kitchens and have a good understanding of food safety and quality control for the food service assistant role. For both positions, we require that you: Have good physical fitness as the work is practical and involves movement and some heavy lifting. Have excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to be able to read instructions, quality control documents, and communicate with students and staff. Are punctual, adaptable, and enjoy meeting people. Treat everyone with respect, consideration, and a positive attitude. We warmly welcome your application!
