The Social Services Sector encompasses 4 activities: special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, regular housing/personal assistance, and disability services. Within the disability services area, services are provided according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities) and the Social Services Act (SoL), targeting people with various disabilities. Services are designed to strengthen the individual's ability to actively participate in community life and live and reside under safe conditions, with respect for self-determination and integrity. Group homes/residential support, daily activities, short-term housing, and various forms of respite care are some of the support functions. All parties in the chain contribute to qualitative and safe support for people with disabilities. 2 position(s). DUTIES The main task is to make everyday life meaningful for our service users and ensure they have a life where they can live like everyone else. Staff at the home shall support service users with daily living through individually adapted everyday support. This involves varied work tasks with a focus on motivational work and support with practical activities such as hygiene, cleaning, cooking, and other household tasks. Staff shall also support service users in their leisure time and social life. As a support assistant, you work to promote service users' participation, independence, abilities, and skills in all respects. You will be a support person for one or more service users, which means you are responsible for establishing and revising the implementation plan. Needs are continuously adapted based on operational requirements, which means you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Does this sound like a task for you? QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a positive view of people and strong values. You should have completed care education with a focus on support assistant or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should have the ability to build good relationships and to understand another person's situation, wishes, and needs in order to work from a service user perspective and place the individual's needs at the center. The work requires responsibility, thoroughness, flexibility, reliability, attentiveness, patience, service mindfulness, good cooperation skills, and excellent interpersonal manner. You should also have knowledge of low-affective interaction, clarifying pedagogy, motivational work/approach, as well as a good ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical work with the individual service user. Merits also include previous work experience within the autism spectrum, work with service users with challenging behaviors, and/or complex issues such as autism combined with mental health diagnoses. You must be fluent in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You can work both in groups and independently. Driver's license category B is a merit. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
