We focus on results and what creates value for those we serve. Welcome to us! Develop with Us We are seeking a Nurse for Temporary Employment We are part of the Social Affairs Department, which is now preparing to create the future of social services. Since January 1, 2024, we have had a target group-adapted organization that supports a process-based approach. The department's core activities are divided into two operational areas: individual and family care, and disability care. The disability care operational area is divided into three areas: Functional Support Prevention and Authority, Housing and Health Care, and Employment, Support in the Home, and Support for Children. The disability care's overall responsibility with both regulatory authority and service delivery provides good collaboration benefits, shorter and simpler decision-making paths, and an opportunity to easily "adjust" based on the needs of the target group. Do you want to work in a dynamic and creative environment where teamwork is in focus? The Housing and Health Care area is responsible for operating 23 LSS residences in municipal management and for health care services within the Social Board's area of responsibility. The Support and Health Team has medical responsibility for special housing and daily activities according to LSS as well as special housing within Social Psychiatry. The team consists of an operations manager, nurses, occupational therapists, and a nursing assistant, and we are now looking for a skilled colleague with specialist training in psychiatry and LSS for our team. Do you want to be part of our journey and take our operations to the next level? Your Assignment The assignment involves you being responsible for health and medical care services in LSS residences, daily activities, and social psychiatry housing. You have great opportunities and, at the same time, great responsibility to influence your own work with this varied target group. Work tasks may include assessing health status, taking samples, giving injections, performing wound care, prescribing continence aids, inserting catheters, or managing medications. The tasks also include supervision and training of care personnel in health and medical care matters. As a person, you are responsible, self-directed, and can adapt your working method to the situation. You have a commitment to working with the target group and you understand the importance of creating and maintaining good relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You actively contribute to quality development in your area and collaborate with both care providers in the region and other partners. We are currently on a journey toward increased digitalization and therefore see that you need to have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions. Over the coming years, we will also establish a crisis team for proactive work according to the new Social Services Act. Working hours are scheduled weekdays, no evenings or weekends. Here is what we are looking for in you: You are a licensed nurse You have knowledge and experience with the LSS target group and training in NPF (psychosis, EPIS, comorbidity, and suicide/self-harm behavior) You have experience working with cognitive aids You enjoy working in a team and are positive toward change and development work You have very good communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing You are proactive, flexible, and see opportunities rather than obstacles You have an empathetic and unbiased perspective You hold a class B driver's license and feel comfortable driving a car in your work It is meritorious if you have: Experience working with individuals with functional variations and/or psychiatric diagnosis in outpatient care Knowledge of aging in relation to diagnoses within LSS Experience working with aids or support regarding food and activities We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
