We are looking for a personal assistant interested in working pedagogically with our client. He is 25 years old and lives independently in Södermalm. He is on the autism spectrum and has epilepsy. This means that our client requires personal assistance 24/7 year-round. He needs active supervision at all times. You will work in his home environment, outdoors, and also at his daily activities program. As a personal assistant, you need to help and support our client in all everyday contexts. The work involves being constantly active and creative with him. The role includes helping with meals, personal hygiene, communication, etc. Therefore, it is important to always be attentive to his well-being and be flexible in different environments. You need to have the following qualities/interests: • Enjoy going on outings • Like being outdoors • Be creative and active • Be able to remain calm in challenging situations • Be able to write, understand, and speak Swedish fluently We are looking for someone who: • Works with motivation • Is secure in yourself • Is attentive and clear in your work approach • Works with a low-affective approach • Is willing to cooperate since there will be dual assistance If you have previous experience working with autism and challenging behavior, this is an advantage. A requirement is that you have the ability to read situations and our client's well-being and act accordingly. You need to be in good health as he is very active. In this assistance, we strive to work with high quality and with focus on our client's participation and independence. Clear job descriptions exist and are updated and developed together at staff meetings and supervision sessions. Working hours vary. Shifts are scheduled during day, afternoon, evening, and weekends. We are looking for someone who can work 80–100 percent. The position is available immediately, and you will also receive an introduction.
