Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We're now hiring multiple substitute teachers and preschool staff for schools and preschools in Boden Municipality.
As a substitute, you'll meet children and students of various ages in different settings. In preschool, you'll work with children ages 1–6 alongside preschool teachers, childcare providers, and special education specialists to create a safe, educational, and stimulating environment.
In primary school, from preschool class through grade 9, you'll work with students ages 6–16. Your assignment may involve leading and conducting instruction based on lesson plans or supporting students' learning during the school day.
You may work in preschool classrooms, in classrooms from preschool class through grade 9, at after-school programs, or as a student assistant. Your tasks will vary depending on the assignment and your experience—this could mean supporting individual students, working alongside regular staff, or independently leading instruction based on lesson plans.
You'll be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Boden Municipality's facilities. Work hours are scheduled for weekdays, daytime.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Currently studying to become a childcare provider, preschool teacher, primary school teacher, or related field.
Willing to work extra as needed, with possibility of full-time work.
A retiree or someone with other primary employment.
Responsible, flexible, and genuinely interested in children and young people's development.
Strong collaboration skills and a confident, clear adult presence.
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
You thrive working at different locations, easily adapt to new routines and ways of working, and bring a positive attitude when interacting with children, students, and colleagues.
Merits:
Previous experience from preschool or school.
Pedagogical training.
Valid driver's license and access to your own car (some facilities are located outside central Boden).
