We are now hiring a nursing assistant for our residence Attendo Nissabogatan and Westerbergs gata. We are a large residential facility in two sections. We have a total of 113 people over 65 years old living with us, distributed across 11 departments. We have two different program focuses: Sports and Spa, as well as Culture and Entertainment. Based on these focuses, we organize many enjoyable activities for our residents. We have nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, managers, planning coordinators, activity coordinators, and chefs working with us. Job Description We are looking for someone with nursing assistant certification. Prior experience in elderly care is a plus. We place great emphasis on customer interactions, communication, flexibility, and the ability to work according to our guidelines and routines regarding, among other things, consistent care contacts and documentation in journal systems. About the Role As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and services to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a major part of your role, as well as contributing to various activities that enrich the daily lives of our elderly residents. Your responsibilities include: Personal care according to facility procedures, based on each customer's individual needs and preferences When needed, helping to prepare, cook, and serve meals, cleaning, laundry, etc. Performing documentation and working based on decided interventions Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as legal guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a letter from current/former employer confirming permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
