We're seeking On-Call Personnel as a Transporter for deceased transport - Eskilstuna Do you want to work in a socially important operation where professionalism, respect, and care are always at the center? Begravningsbolaget AB is now seeking new team members for transporting deceased persons as part of our assignments. We're seeking staff for deceased transport work About the job - Transport and handling of deceased persons When a person passes away, the body must be transported in a dignified and safe manner. This may involve collection from the place of death to the nearest mortuary or transport to Forensic Medicine for examination. As a transporter with us, you'll become part of the entire process surrounding the handling of the deceased. Work is always conducted in teams of two, alternating between driver and assistant. You collaborate closely with authorities, municipal facilities, and external care homes. Working hours are variable and workload can fluctuate between high-intensity periods and quieter periods. You work in an on-call group where you operate from your residence according to schedule. Job duties Transport and handling of deceased persons Cooperation with authorities, healthcare personnel, and relatives Qualifications Secondary education or equivalent Class B driver's license (required) and comfortable driving larger vehicles Basic computer skills No criminal record and not appearing in the police background register (checks conducted in accordance with Police Authority requirements) Good physical condition and stable mental health as the work can be both physically demanding and psychologically challenging Meriting factors Experience transporting deceased persons Experience from healthcare, care services, transport, or other service-oriented activities such as ambulance services, emergency services Personal qualities We place great importance on personal suitability and are seeking someone who: Has personal maturity and good judgment Is thorough, responsible, and stress-resilient Has good teamwork ability and enjoys working in teams Is flexible and can adapt to both intensive and calm work shifts Has good communication skills both verbally and in writing Is empathetic and can treat people in difficult situations with respect and care Has an ethical approach and contributes to dignified handling of the deceased Employment terms We apply individual salary setting.
