As a maintenance mechanic, you play a central role in ensuring high operational reliability and availability of our production equipment. The role involves close collaboration with production where you contribute to preventing downtime, improving facility efficiency, and creating a safe and well-functioning work environment.
You will become part of a team that actively works on improvements and daily management, where safety, quality, and collaboration are in focus. In this role, you will also be the maintenance group's troubleshooting specialist. You are expected to take a leading role in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex technical problems and contribute your expertise to develop work methods and strengthen the team's collective competence in the field. You will be the team's obvious expert in troubleshooting and are expected to drive the work with root cause analyses and long-term solutions to minimize downtime and increase facility operational reliability.
As a maintenance mechanic, you will, among other things,
· Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on production equipment.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production equipment and technical systems.
· Perform tool changes and set and calibrate machines.
· Participate in daily management meetings and actively contribute to improvement work.
· Document completed work in the Mainter maintenance system.
· Work in accordance with applicable safety regulations and procedures.
· Contribute to organization and order as well as development of 5S work.
· Perform root cause analyses and drive long-term improvement measures to prevent recurring operational disturbances.
About you
We are looking for someone who has experience in mechanical maintenance in industry or production and who thrives in an operation with high pace and great personal responsibility.
You have upper secondary education in industry, mechanics, electrical, maintenance, or equivalent, as well as solid experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial operations. You have excellent ability to troubleshoot and remedy problems in production equipment and feel confident analyzing complex technical problems and finding long-term sustainable solutions.
Furthermore, you have experience working in maintenance systems and are accustomed to documenting and following up on completed work. To succeed in the role, you have basic knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and installation, as well as good ability to read and interpret technical drawings. You are also an experienced computer user and speak Swedish well, both verbally and in writing.
As a person, you are solution-oriented, analytical, and take initiative. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and easily collaborate with both colleagues and production. You are flexible and driven by finding root causes of problems and creating long-term improvements that contribute to stable and efficient operations.
It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education in maintenance technology, production technology, electrical systems, or mechanics. If you also have experience with PLC, hydraulics, welding, or machining, we consider that a great advantage. We also value experience in LEAN, TPM, 5S, or other structured improvement work. Having forklift and overhead crane certification as well as hot work certification is also advantageous.
