What We Do and Our Vision Fornuddens School is a modern, newly built school offering education from preschool through grade 9 for approximately 880 students. About the Position We are looking for someone who loves teaching and puts students at the center. You have a positive and professional approach, are flexible, demonstrate clear classroom leadership, and show great dedication with high expectations for your work. You maintain good relationships with your students and actively work toward their academic achievement and well-being. Adapting instruction with varied teaching methods and assessment forms is second nature to you. You are expected to work closely with other teachers in your grade level team, the grades you teach, and the school's student support team and leadership. Co-planning and assessment with subject colleagues are part of your daily work. You will teach across all levels grades 3-9 and will work closely with a subject colleague who holds the same position. Mentoring is not included in this position. The position is contingent on it not being needed for internal reassignments. Who Are You? We are looking for a licensed shop teacher. You will teach wood and metal shop for grades 3-9, which means you should be able to work with all different types of materials and techniques. We appreciate if you are creative, problem-solving, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You have the ability to engage, see, and challenge all students. You are pedagogical and cohesive in the classroom, reaching good academic results through inclusion and relationship-building. You strive for all students to achieve more than they thought possible, have strong assessment skills, and are well versed in the curriculum and other governing documents. You are interested in school development and following research and developments. You are reliable, thorough, and have good ability to manage your own time. We place great importance on personal qualities. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
