About the Position
As a support pedagogue, you play an important role in creating security, participation, and a meaningful daily life for our participants. You work closely with individuals and help create structure and conditions based on each person's needs, wishes, and abilities.
Duties
The work involves guiding and planning daily activities for the group as well as participating in and supporting participants in various physical activities.
The position includes delegated health and care tasks. You are responsible for establishing implementation plans, documentation, and communicating clearly, receiving instructions, and following them. An important part of the work is also collaboration with other actors, such as schools, habilitation services, and child and adolescent mental health services, to ensure good and coordinated support around the individual.
Working hours are scheduled around the clock, all year round. Night and weekend shifts are part of the position. Work in other activities may also occur. We use the Time Care scheduling system. Team leaders and unit managers provide support in daily operations.
Qualifications
You have education as a support pedagogue or other post-secondary education focused on pedagogy or the disability field that the employer considers equivalent.
Experience in pedagogical work and experience within LSS activities is advantageous. Good computer skills and experience working with digital documentation are also considered advantageous.
A Category B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement for the position.
