Work Tasks We're looking for you to work as a personal assistant and make a real difference for a person who needs structure, clarity, and security in their daily life. As a personal assistant, you support a person with a functional disability in their daily life to enable an independent and meaningful life according to the intentions of LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Varying working hours during day, evening, night, and weekends according to schedule. We're looking for someone with good knowledge of what autism entails and who has previous experience working with this target group. You have good experience working with TEACCH and AAC and understand the importance of working pedagogically to meet people in need of structure and clarity in their daily life in a professional and secure manner. Our service users need fixed routines and clear, structured pedagogy to feel predictability and calm in their daily life. As a personal assistant, you are a central part in creating this security. You therefore need to be stable, patient, and have well-developed skills to be calm, secure, and flexible based on the user's condition of the day, wishes, and routines. The work includes support with all daily activities such as personal care, cooking, walks, and maintaining daily routines. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has good knowledge of LSS, particularly personal assistance, and has worked with people with autism or intellectual disability (ID) for at least 3 years. Has experience with low-affect interaction and working with challenging behaviors, understanding of how autism affects communication, perception, and social interaction. Has knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and structured work methods. Has experience with documentation in care and health services. Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. As a person, you need to: Be secure in yourself, clear, flexible, and calm. Have a good ability to follow routines and create structure. Have a high degree of empathy, responsiveness, and respect for the individual's integrity. Physical and mental endurance as the work can be both practically and emotionally demanding.
