We're Hiring a Repair Technician/Mechanic for Our Client in Gothenburg!

Do you have experience in mechanics or repairs? Or an interest in maintenance work? Then we might have the job for you! We at Uniflex are looking for driven professionals in maintenance and repair of freight rail cars. As a repair technician, you will be responsible for service, repair, and maintenance of rail cars, with a particular focus on wheels. Work can be performed independently or in collaboration with a work team. Work must be performed according to established procedures for good working conditions, traffic safety, quality, and efficiency. You can expect a variety of technical and mechanical tasks performed in a workshop environment involving heavy lifting and work in an industrial setting. The facility is large and well-ventilated with many different work tasks, enabling varied assignments and long-term employment with the client. Work is scheduled during daytime hours between 07:00-15:30 Monday-Friday. Any named references should be aware that they appear in your application materials. Selection is ongoing, so the position may be filled before the application deadline. Who Are You? Previous experience as a repair technician, welder, mechanic, workshop technician, or similar is a clear advantage. Training in automotive mechanics or workshop techniques is also a merit. To thrive in this role, you should be able to work both independently and with others. The work may involve heavy tasks, so good physical fitness is desirable. You also need to meet health requirements for work in the rail sector, which will be verified before employment. You will receive the training you need in areas such as freight car maintenance, rail work, brake systems, and other relevant fields. Great importance is placed on your personal qualities.
