The unit's mission is to provide professional and high-quality support to operations, as well as to provide accessible, transparent, and reassuring information to citizens and stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a records manager at Rescue Service South, you will primarily work with ongoing registration and filing of incoming and created documents, mail handling, as well as handling and answering inquiries from companies, other authorities, and citizens.
This may include, for example, working with cases in our document and case management system Daedalos, managing the association's email inbox, or handling the disclosure of public records. You will also work with basic archiving and disposal of documents in our archive. In addition to working in Daedalos, you will handle some administration related to our agreements in Stratsys.
In your work, you will support colleagues and managers with questions related to documents, filing, and archiving, for example by assisting in discussions about which information should be marked as confidential before a potential disclosure.
Your closest colleague will be our head records manager, and together you will cover the daily operations of the administration office and the registry. You will assist the head records manager and the organization in various improvement projects such as introduction to or training in public access and confidentiality, as well as accessibility and plain language directives. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the work of establishing an E-archive and other digitalization projects, as well as various improvements in our case management.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education and a couple of years of experience working as a records manager, archive assistant, or equivalent role that the employer considers relevant for the position. Within the scope of your position, you need to have worked with disclosure of public records, case management, and supporting colleagues and managers with questions related to filing, archiving, or equivalent.
If you have post-secondary education in the field of the position, such as vocational training as a records manager, archive assistant, archivist, or equivalent that the employer considers relevant, this is an advantage.
If you have good experience working in case management systems, such as W3D3, Platina, or equivalent, this is also an advantage.
To be qualified for the position, you also need to have good knowledge of the regulations and processes that exist within public administration, with emphasis on the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Freedom of the Press Ordinance, and the Archives Act. You also need to have good knowledge of the Office package.
It is an advantage if you have experience planning and conducting training activities.
To succeed in this position, you need to have good pedagogical skills and a very good ability to collaborate with different types of people, as the position has many points of contact both internally and externally.
You have experience providing service at different levels and have good communication both internally and externally. You can work independently with a good ability to take your own initiative.
You have good knowledge of Swedish and find it easy to express yourself both verbally and in writing. You also need to be thorough, with a well-developed sense of order and experience managing many parallel work tasks simultaneously. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Since travel between our stations occurs during work, you need to have a B-class driver's license.
